One of the main factors which may slow down your PC is invalid entries in your Windows registry. Different problems may appear if some registry keys point to invalid filenames/folders. Also your registry may contain orphaned values and errors of other kind. Presence of such erroneous entries may noticeably hinder your system performance and even cause failure to launch some programs or Windows itself.

By pressing the Scan for Problems button on the Quick Start page you will navigate to the window offering you two types of scan. Choose the desired scan mode and press the Next button.

Quick Scan. Premium Booster will quickly scan different sections of your registry to see whether your registry needs to be cured. This scan procedure takes about 1 minute to complete depending on the power of your PC.

Smart Scan. Premium Booster will scan your registry and program shortcuts. It will also try to find solutions for problems which appear as a result of incorrect file/folder path. This scan procedure may take a while depending on your PC configuration and size of your HDDs.

You can specify disks which should be used for scanning procedure by pressing the Select Drives button.
